unavoidably be performed with the
power on and the unit open should be
left to qualified personnel familiar with
the possible hazards. Capacitors inside
the unit may still carry a charge even
after the unit has been disconnected
from the power source.
Be sure that all replacement fuses are
of the specified type and size. Never
resort to using reconditioned fuses or
short-circuiting.
Defects and Extreme Usage
If safe operation can no longer be
presumed, shut down the unit and
secure it against unintended operation.
The unit must be presumed unsafe to
operate:
• if it shows visible damage
• if it no longer operates
• if it has been stored for long
periods under adverse conditions
• after harsh treatment during
shipping
Before switching on the unit, make sure
the voltage setting on the unit matches
the voltage of your power outlet. The
unit must be plugged into a grounded
outlet. Do not eliminate the ground
protection by using an ungrounded
extension cord.
Warning!
Any break in the ground conductor
either inside or outside the unit, or any
loosening of the ground connection,
may make the unit hazardous to
operate. Never break the ground
connection intentionally!

For USA use only: Detachable Power
Supply Cord - Listed, type SVT or SJT,
18 AWG. Terminates in parallel blade
grounding type plug 125 V, 15 A
configuration.
