Operating various settings for this unit (Setup menu)
Input Rename
Changes input source names to be displayed on the front
panel display.
Selecting a name to be displayed from templates
Press HCursor A / V to select the input source name to
edit and then press HCursor <1 /1> to select a new
name from the following templates.
— Blu-ray — Satellite
-DVD -VCR
— SetTopBox -Tape
— Game -MD
-TV -PC
-DVR - iPod
-CD - HD DVD
-CD-R - “blank”
Entering an original name
Press HCursor A / V to select the input source name to
edit and then press 01 ENTER. Enter up to 9 characters
by selecting one character at a time with the following key
operations.

¡ENTER
Selects a character to edit.
Selects a character to enter.
Enters a selected character.
The following characters are available for input.
A to Z, 0 to 9, a to z, symbols (#, *,
+, etc.) and space
Zone2
Sets the maximum volume level and initial volume level
of Zone2.
• These parameters are available only when “Extra Speaker Assignment“
is set to “Zone2" (page 56).
■ Zone2 Max Volume
Adjustable range: -30.0dB to +15.0dB, +16.5dB* (5.0 dB step)
Sets the maximum volume level of Zone2, so that the
volume will not be accidentally increased. Eor example,
you can adjust the volume between -80.0 dB and -5.0 dB
when you set this parameter to “-5.0dB”.
■ Zone2 Initial Volume
Adjustable range: OfE, Mute, -SO.OdB to +16.5dB (0.5 dB step)
Use this feature to set the volume level of Zone2 when the
power of Zone2 unit is turned on. When this parameter is
set to “Off’, the volume level used at the time when the
Zone2 unit was set to standby is applied.

• H'you SCI “Zoiic2 Max Volume" and “Zonc2 Initial Volume", ihc selling
or“Zonc2 Max Volume" becomes effective. For example, if you set
“Zonc2 Max Volume" to “-30.0dB" and “Zonc2 Initial Volume" to
"O.OdB". the volume is aulomatically set lo “-30.()dB" al the iicxl time
the Zonc2 unit is lurned on.

Protects the Setup menu settings against accidental
alteration.
