Drawing Vertical Lines
Vertical Lines are also drawn by defining a beginning and ending
point. However, the
INDEX
(■ i ) or
REVERSE INDEX
( T ) keys
are used to insure that you are defining a straight line rather than
a box. If you are just one space to the right or left, a box will be
drawn rather than a vertical line. Vertical lines can be drawn from
top to bottom or bottom to top.
1 Space to the position you want the vertical line to begin
2 Press
CODE + L
to set the beginning point of the line
Your screen will prompt:
FRAME CORNER WAS SET
3 Press
INDEX
( i ) to move to the desired end point of the line
4 Press
CODE + L
again to set the ending point of the line
YOur screen will prompt:
PRINTING
The typewriter will draw the vertical line and return to the
starting position.
