These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
LUDLOW DECK MOUNTED LAVATORY FAUCET WITH METAL CROSS HANDLES (STYLE#
LDLS01) & METAL LEVER HANDLES (STYLE# LDLS10)
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.
Please consult your Design Associate for current specifications.

HANDLE INSTALLATION:
¾ See Figure 2. for Steps 4-6.
4. Remove the TRIM ADAPTER & RED FIBER WASHER
from the VALVE BODY.
5. Thread the HANDLE NUT as far down as possible,
moving the BROWN FIBER WASHER, METAL
SPACER & RUBBER WASHER along with it.
6. Place the VALVE BODY with mounting hardware
through the hole in the deck. From above the deck,
thread the TRIM ADAPTER down, making sure RED
FIBER WASHER is between the adapter and the
deck. Note: Handle assembly will not function
correctly without RED FIBER WASHER.

¾ See Figure 3. for steps 7 & 8.
7. From below the deck, thread the VALVE BODY into
the TRIM ADAPTER so that the HANDLE
CARTRIDGE sits flush with the top of the TRIM
ADAPTER.
8. Verify the handle alignment and then tighten the
HANDLE NUT to secure this assembly.

¾ See Figure 4, 4a & 4b for steps 9 - 12.
9. To install HANDLE ASSEMBLY to the TRIM
ADAPTER, slide the ESCUTCHEON up the HANDLE
STEM to reveal the HANDLE FASTENING NUT.
10. Fit HANDLE STEM onto HANDLE CARTRIDGE
making sure the HANDLE CARTRIDGE stem is fully
inserted into HANDLE STEM.
11. Hand-tighten HANDLE FASTENING NUT to the TRIM
ADAPTER and then tighten with wrench, making
sure the top of the HANDLE FASTENING NUT is
flush with the top of the TRIM ADAPTER. See Figure
4a for details.
12. Slide the ESCUTCHEON back down the HANDLE
STEM and make sure the ESCUTCHEON O-RING
snaps into the groove of the TRIM ADAPTER. Note:
You may need to rotate the escutcheon while
pressing down to fully snap it down. See Figure 4b
for details.
¾ During installation make sure to rotate the
ESCUTCHEON to orient the NOTCH out of sight. The
NOTCH is for easy removal of the handle assembly.
