Using the Graphic
Equalizer
Making Use of the Preset
Equalizer Settings
When the system is shipped from the
factory, 7 specially recommended settings
of the graphic equalizer are stored. You
can enjoy the effect of equalizer by just
choosing from the preset settings according
to the program source.
1 Press EQUALIZATION so that “ON”
appears in the display.
2 Press CURSOR so that “PRESET”
appears in the dispiay.
3 Seiect the preset equaiizer setting
with CURSOR CONTROL by referring
to the table below.

2 POPS b
3 JAZZ c
4 CLASSIC d
5 MOVIE e
6 CAR f
7 WM g
Q For rock music.
13 For vocals.
□ For jazz.

For classic.
B For movie programs on video tapes or
video discs.
D
For recording a tape to be listened to in
a car.
m For recording a tape to be listened to
with stereo headphones.
When you do not want to apply the
equalizer effect Q
Press EQUALIZATION So that “OFF” ( Q)
appears in the display window.
DISPLAY
Changing the Display
The amplifier has two modes of display:
equalizer curve display and spectrum
analyzer display.
The display changes each time you press
DISPLAY.
