Disabling a Forgotten Password
The system's software security features include a system password and a setup password, which are discussed in detail in "Using the System Setup Program"
in your User's Guide. The password jumper enables these password features or disables them and clears any password(s) currently in use.
1.
Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
2.
Open the system. See "
Opening the System
" in "Troubleshooting Your System."
3.
Remove the password jumper plug.
to locate the password jumper on the system board.
4.
Close the system. See "
Closing the System
" in "Troubleshooting Your System."
5.
Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system.

The connectors for 64-bit cards are longer than the PCI 32-bit connector. However, as long as the card is installed properly, the card will still
function.

Description
Upper slot PCI 32 bit, 33 MHz (5 V)
The RAC must be installed in the upper slot.
Lower slot PCI-X 64 bit, 66 MHz (3.3 V) For optimal performance, install RAID and SCSI controllers in the lower slot.
