Name of the host to delete. You must put brackets

([ ]) around the host name. If the host name has

special characters, you must also put quotation

marks (" ") around the host name.

NOTE: A host is a system that is attached to
the storage array and accesses the virtual disks
on the storage array through its HBA
host ports.

Delete Host Group

Description

This command deletes a host group.

CAUTION: This command deletes all of the host definitions in the host group.

Syntax

delete hostGroup [hostGroupName]

hostGroup

Name of the host group to delete. You must put

brackets ([ ]) around the host group name. If the

name of the host group has special characters, you

must also put quotation marks (" ") around the host

group name.

NOTE: A host group is an optional topological
element that is a collection of hosts that share
access to the same virtual disks. The host
group is a logical entity.

Delete Host Port

Description

This command deletes an HBA host port identification. The identification is a software value that
represents the physical HBA host port to the RAID controller module. By deleting the identification, the
RAID controller module no longer recognizes instructions and data from the HBA host port.
