ETC Action Script Template: BACnet Properties List
Is the Object Type Proprietary?
Yes
Does the Object Type contain any Proprietary Properties?
Yes, all but the first eight properties.
General Description of Object Type
The ETC Action Script Template object type is an ETC proprietary construct to encapsulate
all the properties of a Paradigm "Action Script Template" (also known as "AST") and its
associated values.
The object instance may be created only by the Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS)
and its associated ETC sub-systems. Each object instance for this "Object_Type" has an
"Object_Identifier" that is unique for this type and "Object_Name".
The "Present_Value" property will always have the objects target type. Action script
template objects are only used by the BACnet interface to create valid Timed Event objects.
The available AST objects generally do not change but may vary between software
versions, and represent a list of actions that can be employed by Timed Events.
Clients should read these objects by name and instance and use them to specify the type
of action a new Timed Event will perform.
