5.5.1. Working with USB Memory Stick Folders and Files
Insert a memory stick into the port on the
front panel (Figure 16). The Protocol 3
performs an initialization process that finds
and/or creates folders on the memory stick
(Figure 17):
DEVICE
: This folder must be located in
the Root of the USB memory stick
CONFIG
: Configuration files (*.bct)
PROFILE
: Profile program files (*.pfl)
RECORDER
: Recorder log folders and
files. The user is asked for a new
recorder subfolder name before
transferring recorder data to USB. The
log files (*.csv) are placed in this folder.
Files must be located in these folders to be used by the controller.
When preparing to upload files from your PC, ensure that you save
them to the correct folder on the memory stick.
Note: to speed up the disk operation, keep the number of files
stored in these folders to a minimum.
If the file or folder named already exists, data will be overwritten.
Do not remove the memory stick from the USB port while a data
transfer operation is in progress. Data loss or corruption may
result.
