Step 2 - Replacement of the outer piston

(4) Fit the outer piston
assembly tool over the outer
piston shaft. Screw both
halves together then slide
the tool down over the
piston. (5) Lightly oil the top inside
edge of cylinder and position
the tool containing the
plunger assembly on its rim.
Remove the screw from the
tool and force the piston
shaft through the split to
remove the tool. (6) Refit the end cap onto
the top of the cylinder and
tighten the knurled nut.
Remove the sleeve from the
inner piston and discard.
Lightly oil the top inside
edge of hollow outer piston
shaft, gently ease the piston
inside. Refit all gauges.
