7.3 Error Messages Displayed After Warm-Up
If there were problems detected durng warm-up, error messages that
descrbe the nature of the problems are dsplayed mmedately followng the
analyzer’s 60 second warm-up perod.
If problems were detected, the analyzer wll not automatcally swtch to the
Combuston Test HOLD screen after warm-up. The analyzer, however, can
stll be used to perform any test that does not depend on the sensor that s
n error. Press the
RUN
button to manually dsplay the Combuston Test
HOLD screen, and then contnue usng the analyzer.
The followng s a lst of the error messages that may appear followng
warm-up and ther suggested remedes:
Low Battery – Battery voltage s low. Only several mnutes of operatng
tme reman. Replace or charge batteres per Secton 3.2.
O
2
No Sensor – Oxygen sensor not nstalled, or has become unplugged from
ts electrcal connector. Install oxygen sensor per Fgure 6-2 on Page 6-3.
O
2
BAD Sensor – The oxygen sensor’s output s below 24 mV, sgnfyng
that the sensor s depleted and needs replaced. Refer to Secton 6.3.
No Smart Sensors – No gas sensors are nstalled. Install sensors per
Secton 6.3.
Pressure Overrange – Pressure sensor measured a pressure that was
outsde the range of ±3 nwc durng warm-up. Ensure that probe tp s open
to the atmosphere durng warm-up.
Ts Error – The probe’s thermocouple s not connected to the analyzer’s T-
STACK connector.
Ts Overrange – The temperature measured durng warm-up was outsde
the range of –4 to 2,192 °F (–20 to 1,200 °C). Ensure that the probe s
correctly connected to the analyzer per Fgure 3-2 on Page 3-3, and that
the probe s at room temperature durng warm-up.
Ta Overrange – The temperature measured durng warm-up by the
optonal prmary / ambent ar thermocouple plugged nto the analyzer's
T-AIR connector was outsde the range of –4 to 212 °F (–20 to 100 °C).
Ensure that ths thermocouple s at room temperature durng warm-up.
UNCALIBRATED SENSORS – Lst of sensors that do not have a
calbraton hstory stored on ther prnted crcut board. Calbrate each of
the sensors lsted per Secton 5.
