Introduction
1.5.3 POWER (AC Adapter)
The AC power adapter P/N 24-1404 can be used as an external power sup-
ply, whch wll run the analyzer on a contnuous bass.
When usng rechargeable NMH batteres, the AC power adapter can also
be used to charge the batteres whle nsde the analyzer. The analyzer’s
rapd-charger crcut, however, must frst be turned ON per Secton 3.14.
The rapd charger wll charge a set of depleted batteres n approxmately
2 - 3 hours.
When dsposable alkalne batteres are used, the analyzer’s battery char-
ger crcut must be OFF to prevent the batteres from overheatng. As a
precauton, the charger crcut s automatcally toggled back to ts OFF
state when the analyzer s turned OFF.
1.5.4 ∆P (Differential Pressure)
Draft s measured by connectng the probe’s draft hose to the +∆P fttng,
whle leavng the –∆P fttng open to the atmosphere.
In addton to measurng draft, the “+” and “–” ∆P fttngs can also be used
to measure the dfferental pressure between two areas by frst connectng
a hose P/N 24-1103 to the –∆P fttng, and then nsertng the open end of
ths hose nto the area beng used as the reference pressure. The analyzer’s
probe s then nserted nto the area who’s dfferental pressure s to be
measured. Refer to Secton 4.6.
1.5.5 USB (Computer Interface)
Data that has been stored n the analyzer’s memory can be downloaded to
a personal computer by connectng USB data cable P/N 104-4032 between
the USB ports of the computer and analyzer. Refer to Secton 4.14.2.
1.5.6 IrDA (Printer Interface)
Data that has been stored n the analyzer’s memory can be prnted on a
compatble IrDA wreless prnter by algnng ther IrDA communcaton
ports. Refer to Secton 4.16.
1.5.7 OPT (Option)
The opton connector s used for optonal external measurement features.
