Operation
4.14.4 Unplugging the USB Cable
CAUTION: To avoid possible electronic damage to the ana-
lyzer, it is not advisable to unplug the USB cable without
first turning OFF the PCA 2 USB connection using the
“Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the Windows XP system
tray.
Do the followng before unpluggng the
USB cable:
1. Double-clck the “Safely Remove
Hardware” con n the Wndows XP
system tray.
2. If more than one USB devce s
plugged nto the computer, select
the devce labeled “Bacharach PCA2
USB drver” and then clck Stop.
3. Clck OK to confrm that the devce
s to be stopped.
4. Wat untl “Bacharach PCA2 USB
drver” s removed from the screen,
and then clck Close.
5. The USB cable can now be safely
unplugged.
