2.1.2 Uninstalling the Software Access Point
This section describes the uninstallation procedure for the MAGNIA Software Access Point.
2.1.2.1 For Windows NT/2000

Activate the [Add/Remove Programs] icon on the Control Panel.

Delete "MAGNIA Software Access Point" by selecting it.
Subsequently, follow the uninstaller's instructions.

In the case of Windows NT, the uninstallation is completed here.
In the case of Windows 2000, delete the wireless LAN card driver subsequently. For details on
deleting the device driver, refer to the Windows 2000 manual or online Help.
2.1.2.2 For Linux
Step 1 Log in as root.
Step 2 Uninstall the Linux-version of MAGNIA Software Access Point, using the rpm command.
for Red Hat 7.1
# rpm -e tsap-2.4.2-2
# rpm -e bridge-utils-0.9.3-1
for Turbolinux 7
# rpm -e tsap-2.4.9-3
# rpm -e bridge-utils-0.9.3-1
Memo
Even if the Linux-version of MAGNIA Software Access Point is uninstalled, its setup files are not deleted.
Therefore, delete the following setup files manually if you don’t need the configuration settings of the Access
Point Software anymore or if you want to completely delete anything showing that the MAGNIA Software
Access Point was used. Note that after the uninstallation, each of the file names returns to "(Original file
name) .rpmsave."
