If you are upgrading, execute the following command. Here, an example of upgrading from 1.0-0,
installed in Step 4, to 1.1-0 is given.

Step 5 To operate the Linux-version MAGNIA Software Access Point, execute the following command.

When Step 5 is executed, the network services including the wireless LAN configuration may
be left in an undefined status. Before executing this step, please check the status of other
network services, too. To execute Step 5, please consult the server administrator.
You can achieve similar effects by restarting the active OS with the following command. .
However, other services (such as HTTPD, FTPD etc.) are not available during a restart either, so
use the above method as much as possible.
# reboot
# rpm -U tsap-2.4.9-3-1.1-0.i386.rpm
# rpm -U tsap-2.4.2-2-1.1-0.i386.rpm
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart
Step 6 Set up the required items in the Access point setup page. By the default, WEP and MAC address
filtering are enabled.
Step 7 Select the wired LAN network that you want to connect to in the Wired LAN selection page.

At least 1 MByte of free disk space is required for the installation.
/var/tmp is used as a working area at the time of installation. If this directory does not exist, or if the free area
is not enough, it may not be installed successfully.
In order to communicate with an Access Point Configuration Utility (the Windows version), it is necessary to
install the SNMP package of the distribution before.
For details on setup procedure of SNMP, see the following section.
Depending on the security configuration of your Linux system, you may not be able to install a Web browser
or the SNMP software package. In this case, you may have to change your security configuration. Please read
the manual of each Linux distribution about security configuration.
