Prior to pouring concrete, use the
recommended diameter metal hole saw
to drill a hole through the metal deck
at the location the insert is needed.
Typically, inserts are installed in the

From the topside of the metal deck,
place the Metal Anchor Insert's
color-coded, plastic protective sleeve
through the pre-drilled hole. The
