Sioux Chief 522 Series Universal Slider Bracket - Manual

SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief 522 Series Universal Slider Bracket™ (USB) shall be used where
necessary for bracketing applications. Bracket shall adjust telescopically
and have dual fastening tabs on each end. Bracket shall be galvanized for
corrosion resistance. System shall be approved for use with metal, wood or
masonry, and be UV resistant, and UPC listed.

clamp insert: Metallocene (thermoplastic elastomer)
wood screws: zinc-plated steel, Phillips-head, #6 × 1"
sheet metal screws: stainless steel, ¼" hex head, drill-tip, #6 × ¾"
nails: zinc-plated steel, 1⅛" × 13-gauge,

INSTALLATION
The USB is approved for use with copper tube, CPVC tube, PEX/PB tube,
Steel pipe, CSST lines, conduit, and low voltage DataCom cable. Install
using screws or nails in all four tabs. Wear hand protection when installing.
Cinch bridge of channel clamp evenly after placing tube into clamp base.
Bracket must have a minimum overlap of 1" on 522-16 models, and 2" on
522-24 models. It is permissible to use one bracket section and fasten
directly through channel.
