Hold
Tighten
Turn off house water.
With a permanent marker,
mark the tube at the outside
and inside of each brass
compression fi tting of the
Add-A-Line.
Turn off house water. Cut out a
one inch section of copper tube,
including the piercing valve. Cut
the fl exible line to the ice maker
or humidifi er. Be sure to leave
enough line to reach the new
Add-A-Line.
Slide a compression nut and a
brass ferrule over each section
of cut tube. Then, slip the
Add-A-Line over one section
of tube, then the other,
lining up the compression
threads with the outer marks.
With two wrenches, tighten each
compression nut. Take care not
to over tighten.
Slide the top compression
nut and the brass ferrule (for
copper tube) or the plastic
ferrule (for poly tube) over the
line to the appliance. Tighten
the compression nut onto the
Add-A-Line.
