Magazine
Cleaning the Throat Assembly
The magazine throat assembly a photo can be
disassembled for cleaning.
• Remove the two screws beside the top and bottom
corners of the pressure plate a photo .
• Open the take-up side door and fully loosen the screw
between the two sprocket rollers a photo .
• Flip the magazine over so the screw drops out of
engagement with the pressure plate assembly. The
screw is captive so it will not fall out and get lost
a photo .
• Pull out the pressure plate assembly a photo .
• Clean the film running surfaces a photo and guide
rollers a photo with a brush.
• Put the pressure plate assembly back in place. (It fits
accurately on dowel pins).
• Refit and tighten the two screws.
