Making Calls Using S Voice
Place a call by speaking the name or number.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ S Voice.
2. The first time you access S Voice, follow the prompts to
confirm the Samsung Disclaimer and Terms of service.
3. Read the About S Voice screen and follow the prompts.
4. At the What would you like to do? screen, say
“Hi Galaxy” to wake up S voice.
5. Say, “Call” followed by the name of a contact.
Making Calls Using Favorites
Favorites are contacts that you designate as favorites by
starring them. For more information about creating favorites,
see “Favorites” on page 64.
1. From a Home screen, touch Phone.
2. Touch Favorites to display your favorite contacts.
3. Find the contact and touch it to open the Contact entry.
4. Swipe your finger from left to right across the contact
to dial their default number.

Touch a contact, then touch Call to dial the
number.
Making Calls from Recent Calls
Return a call, or call a number from a recent call stored in
Recent calls.
For more information, refer to “Recent Calls” on page 73.
Multi-Party Calling
Use multi-party call features to set up a call between multiple
callers, such as for a conference call.
1. Establish the first call, by answering an incoming call
or making a call.
2. Touch Add call. The first call is placed on hold.
3. Make the second call by touching the phone number
digits, then touch Call.
4. Touch Merge to merge the calls into one conference
call.
5. To end the call touch End call.
