Voice Privacy
Note: This feature is only available on the Verizon Wireless network.
Enable or disable advanced voice encryption.
1. From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings &
Tools ➔ Call Settings ➔ Voice Privacy.
2. Touch On to enable voice privacy, or Off to disable voice
privacy.
3. Touch to save your selection and return to the menu.
Data Settings
Select a port for connections to the phone, and set connection
speed.
1. From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings &
Tools ➔ Call Settings ➔ Data Settings.
• Select Port: Choose NULL to allow no connections, USB to allow
connections to the USB port, or BLUETOOTH to allow connections
via Bluetooth.
• Port Speed: Select a speed, from 19200, 57600, 115200,
230400, or 460800.
2. Touch to save your selection and return to the menu.
DTMF Tones
Set DTMF tone length.
1. From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings &
Tools ➔ Call Settings ➔ DTMF Tones.
2. Select a tone length: Normal or Long.
3. Touch to save your selection and return to the menu.
Assisted Dialing
Enable assisted dialing, set a reference country and enter
standard codes and prefixes to allow easier dialing of
international calls.
1. From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings &
Tools ➔ Call Settings ➔ Assisted Dialing.
2. Touch On to enable Assisted Dialing, or Off to disable.
3. Touch Reference Country and select your home location.
4. Touch to enter codes and prefixes.
• Country Code
• IDD Prefix
• NDD Prefix
• Area Code
• National Number Length
