Swipe options
• Multiple widgets: allows you to display multiple widgets on the
Lock screen.
• Lock scren widgets: locks the widgets displayed on the home
screens.
• Shortcuts: When enabled, application shortcuts display on the
lock screen. Swipe an icon to launch the associated
application.
Touch Shortcuts to enable lock screen shortcuts.
Touch Shortcuts to disable lock screen shortcuts.
Touch Shortcuts to add/remove lock screen shortcuts.
• Unlock effect: sets the type of effect to view when unlocking
the phone. Select None, Ripple effect, or Light effect.
• Help text: shows help information on the Lock screen.
• Wake up in lock screen: requires that you say a command to
wake-up your phone. (For more information about S Voice, see
“S Voice” on page 126.)
• Set wake-up command: designates your wake-up
commands. Tap Set wake-up command and follow the on-
screen prompts to create a new verbal command. (For more
information about S Voice, see “S Voice” on page 126.)

� From the Home screen, touch Menu ➔
Settings ➔ My device ➔ Personalization, ➔
Display. The Display menu displays.

Wallpaper
Select wallpaper(s) for the Home and Lock screens.
1. From the Home screen, touch Menu ➔
Settings ➔ My device ➔ Personalization ➔
Display ➔ General ➔ Wallpaper.
2. Touch the screen for which you want to select
wallpaper. (Options are: Home screen, Lock screen, and
Home and lock screens.)
3. Touch the source of the wallpaper(s) you want to use.
[Options are: Gallery, Live wallpapers (not for the Lock
screen), and Wallpapers.)
4. Touch the desired image or wallpaper.
