Application Error
Save the Java trace file and log file on Remote Web Console, and report to
HP technical support. Then, restart Remote Web Console.
The examples of the file location are as follows:
For Windows:

c:\Documents and Settings\logon user ID\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\log\*.trace
•
c:\Documents and Settings\logon user ID\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\log\*.log
For UNIX:
•

Remote Web Console experiences an
error.
The SVP might not be ready or perform some write processes from the other
system. Wait for a while, and then click the Refresh command in the File menu.
If the SVP is not restored even though you have clicked the Refresh command,
click the Refresh All command.
Only the Exit button, Refresh
command, and Refresh All command
are effective when accessing the SVP
from Remote Web Console.
An error may have occurred in the SVP. Click the Refresh All command in the
File menu. If the SVP is not restored even though you have clicked the Refresh
All command, log in to Remote Web Console again.

Close all the windows of your web browser and then clear cache for both Java
and the web browser. For instructions on how to clear cache for both Java and
the web browser, see
“Clearing Cache of Java and Web Browsers” (page 138)

Remote Web Console does not start
even though you try to start it many
times.
The user ID or password of the log-in user might include a symbol. Log in as a
user whose user ID and password include no symbol.
Cannot log in to Tool Panel or Control
Panel.
The version of Remote Web Console installed on the Remote Web Console
computer might not match the SVP version. Close all the windows of your web
browser and then clear cache for both Java and the web browser. For
instructions on how to clear cache for both Java and the web browser, see
“Clearing Cache of Java and Web Browsers” (page 138)
.
In addition, if a proxy is used for network connections, the proxy cache may
store the older version of the program. If the problem still remains after you
clear cache for both Java and the web browser, contact your network
administrator.
An error (1,7050) occurs and Remote
Web Console does not start when
accessing the SVP from the Remote
Web Console computer.
