Configuring the ATP6100 Line for SWCI
Communications
For SWCI to work correctly, when you add the profile, you must change the
following modifiers to the required values.
.
These changes are permanent and persist through system loads. For general
information on the modifiers for the ATP6100 subsystem, refer to the Asynchronous
Terminals and Printer Processes Configuration and Management Manual.
The following examples show adding a profile for an ATP6100 line with the
necessary modifiers.
This example adds a unique name for the switch module at the primary node:
-> ADD PROFILE $ZZWAN.#SWCI1, FILE $SYSTEM.SYS00.PATPTERM,&
-> BAUD2400, CHAR8, NONE, NOCHECK, NOECHO, CTSFLOW, NAME #PRI
This example adds a unique name for the switch module at the backup node:
-> ADD PROFILE $ZZWAN.#SWCI2, FILE $SYSTEM.SYS00.PATPTERM,&
-> BAUD2400, CHAR8, NONE, NOCHECK, NOECHO, CTSFLOW, NAME #BCK
3. Add the Device
The DEVICE object associates the profile you created with a specific port on a
SWAN concentrator. The following examples show adding an ATP6100 line-
handler process and line for each switch module.
This example adds a device for the switch module at the primary node.
-> ADD DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SWITCH1, PROFILE SWCI1, ADAPTER S01,&
-> CPU 0, ALTCPU 1, CLIP 3, LINE 1, &
-> IOPOBJECT $SYSTEM.SYS00.OATPCSS, TYPE (53,0), RECSIZE 80
This example adds a device for the switch module at the backup node.
-> ADD DEVICE $ZZWAN.#SWITCH2, PROFILE SWCI2, ADAPTER S02,&
-> CPU 0, ALTCPU 1, CLIP 1, LINE 0, &
-> IOPOBJECT $SYSTEM.SYS00.OATPCSS, TYPE (53,0), RECSIZE 80
