Nomadic Disk Configuration File
Configuration File Examples
The following are example NDCONFIG files for a basic configuration for each of the
two nodes participating in a ServerNet Nomadic Disk configuration. For detailed
descriptions of all configuration statements, see
Nomadic Disk Manager Configuration
In a normal state, the node \TELE (system number 249) is the primary node and owns
the Nomadic volumes and \OMS1 (system number 250) is the backup node. Each node
contains:
•
One 45xx disk module, containing eight disk volumes.
•
One switch module containing two switch cards and two RS-232 ports. One port is
connected to the primary node, and the other port is connected to the backup node.
The switch module devices are named $SM01.#A and $SM02.#A. The ownership
positions from the two different nodes are complements of each other.
°
Switch module devices \TELE.$SM01.#A and \OMS1.$SM01.#A are located
with \TELE.
°
Switch module devices \TELE.$SM02.#A and \OMS1.$SM02.#A are located
with \OMS1.
