NOTE:
The
SAMPLES
file is distributed as a part of the NS Samples for Java Frameworks - T0874
and can be downloaded from Scout for NonStop Servers.
Before you start deploying the sample applications, complete the following steps:
1.
Download
SAMPLES
file from Scout for NonStop Servers.
2.
Add
.zip
extension to it. The file is now named as
SAMPLES. zip
.
3.
Extract
SAMPLES. zip
file to a location on your Windows system.
The
NS-Samples-for-Java-Frameworks
folder appears.
NOTE:
The absolute path of
NS-Samples-for-Java-Frameworks
folder is referred as
<My SASH Home>.
This section describes the following steps for the myfaces-components application:

Downloading the required dependency components on Windows system

Building the sample application on Windows system

Deploying the sample application on NonStop system

The myfaces-components sample application demonstrates the use of various myfaces components

Downloading Dependency JAR Files on Windows
Apart from the core MyFaces runtime JAR files, myfaces-components requires some dependency
JAR files. You must download the following distributions of all the dependency JAR files on
your Windows system:
•
tomahawk-1.1.8.jar
Download
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.tar.gz
or
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.zip
from
.
Both the files contain the binaries for Tomahawk components. The only difference is in their
compression formats.
NOTE:
Besides the
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.zip
and
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.tar.gz
files, you will also find links to their respective signature files,
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.zip.asc
and
tomahawk-1.1.8-bin.tar.gz.asc
. You need
not download the signature files.

Download
commons-fileupload-1.0.zip
