Message exchange support
Axis2/Java supports the request-response message exchange pattern and the one-way
message exchange pattern. Both these patterns are defined in the by defined in the WSDL
file.
•
Extensible architecture
The Axis2/Java architecture enables you to add custom header processing and system
management features, thereby making it an extensible architecture.
Components in an Axis2/Java Application on NonStop
The components used by Axis2/Java applications to run on NonStop systems are as follows:
•
•
•
•
•
NonStop Servlets for JavaServer Pages
Web Clients
Web clients, such as browsers, are programs that provide a graphical user interface and can
communicate directly with the iTP WebServer.
TCP/IP Subsystem
The HP NonStop TCP/IP subsystem uses the TCP/IP protocol to allow processes on a NonStop
system to communicate with each other.
The following types of TCP/IP versions are available on HP Integrity NonStop systems:
•
Conventional TCP/IP
•
TCP/IPv6
For more information on conventional TCP/IP, see the TCP/IP Configuration and Management
Manual.
For more information on TCP/IPv6, see the TCP/IPv6 Configuration and Management Manual.
TS/MP PATHMON Process
The PATHMON process provides centralized monitoring and control of a TS/MP environment
comprising server classes and object types.
For more information on conventional TCP/IP, see the HP NonStop Pathway/iTS System Management
Manual.
iTP WebServer
An iTP WebServer is a NonStop web server, which provides a range of services for running an
online commercial or informational enterprise on the Web.
The core process of the iTP WebServer is
httpd
, which acts as a File server and a
Message-switching facility.
For more information on iTP WebServer, see the iTP Secure WebServer System Administrator's
Guide.
