About Utilities
Storage Provisioner allows you to create and manage storage utilities through
tasks that you need to manage storage and customers. The Utility button provides
the tasks associated with defining and managing the utility. From the Storage
Utilities tab, you can:
■ View storage utility information.
■ Create a utility.
■ Modify storage utility information.
■ Delete a utility.
Viewing Utilities
To view utilities:
In the Storage Utilities tab, select a storage utility displayed in the Navigation
pane.
A storage utility is identified by the following icon:
The selected storage utility is highlighted, as well as the customer assigned to that
utility.
Creating Utilities
To create a utility:
1. In the Storage Utilities tab, click Utility on the toolbar.
A window opens to step you through the process to create a storage utility for
management by your Storage Provisioner.
