2. Double-click Display.
The Display Properties window opens.
3. Select the Settings tab.
a. In the Colors drop-down box, select >256 Colors (high color or true
color).
b. On the Screen area slider bar, select 1024 x 768 pixels.
4. Click OK to activate your changes and close the window.
Next time you open Storage Provisioner, the monitor clarity should be better.
Browser Window Closures
Opening a second Internet-aware application, such as an E-mail program, can
cause Storage Provisioner to close because the newly opened program opens in
the same browser window. This forces you to restart
Storage Provisioner
each
time. To correct this:
1. From the menu bar in your browser, click Tools > Internet Options.
The Internet Options window opens.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under the Browsing list of options, deselect Reuse windows for launching
shortcuts.
4. Click OK to activate your changes and close the window.
This change creates separate browser windows for each application.
MA Window Not Closed
New storage system information may not display if you do not close the
application and the HP OpenView Storage Management Appliance launch page
before relaunching
Storage Provisioner
. Here’s what happens:
1. You start Storage Provisioner, complete your tasks, and close the application.
2. You leave the MA Tools page open from the first instance of Storage
Provisioner, and start another instance of Storage Provisioner.
