Table 11: PDO Mapping / Process Data Structure SK XU4-POL
The allocation of the values transferred in the setpoint/actual value area of the FI is made via the
parameters P543 to P548 or P543 / P546 [-
01]…[-05].

Digitale IOs (only SK xU4-POL)
The SK TU4-POL is equipped with 8 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs. In contrast, the SK CU4-POL
only has 2 digital inputs. These can be controlled or read via process data word 1.
Inputs (status value)
A 16 bit word is transferred. The 8 (or 2) inputs are located in the Low byte and the High byte on Bit 15
contains the "Valid Flag" for the inputs. The transferred inputs are only valid if this flag is set to 1.

Information
SDO Handling
The handling of transmission or querying of SDOs depends on the PLC which is used. For B&R, SDOs can be
processed with the function blocks EplSDORead or EplSDOWrite. For detailed information, please contact the
manufacturer of the PLC.
Access to the parameter of the frequency inverter or the bus module is carried out by creating an
Index and a Sub-Index.
