34 Testing Procedures
To perform Fire Simulator Test:
1 Power up the system and wait up to 60 seconds for the detector to turn
to a normal state. The Power LED turns on.
2 Aim the Spectrex Fire Simulator Model 20/20/312 at the target point of
the detector (Figure 15), in a way that the radiation emitted by it is
facing directly towards the detector. (See Long Range Fire Simulator on
page 55).
3 Press the operation button once. After few seconds, a successful test
shows the results shown in Table 18.
