Example Shift Setup
Worldwide Industrial has a daily Shift Schedule with three shifts. Their Production Day begins with the
evening shift, and their shift times are:
ƒ Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
ƒ Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
ƒ Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
The difference between this shift setup and the shift setup on page 4.16 is the Night Shift. Any data
collected at Worldwide Industrial during the Night Shift needs to be included with the data collected on the
Next Production Day (the same day as the rest of the shifts in this setup). See page 4.11 for more in-depth
information about the concept of Next Production Day.
When Mark (the Production Monitoring™ administrator) creates the Shift Schedule, the final list looks
like Figure 4.15.
