UNIDIRECTIONAL REMOTE MAIN SPEED POTENTIOMETER WITH START/STOP
CONNECTIONS, JUMPER J2 SETTINGS, AND DRIVE PROGRAMMING
*Factory setting.
Bidirectional Operation with 2-Wire Start/Stop
Connect the high side of the Main Speed Potentiometer to TB1 Terminals "2" (+5 Volts), the
wiper to TB1 Terminal "3" (Analog Signal Input), and the low side to TB1 Terminal "1" (-5 Volts).
Connect the Start/Stop Contact to TB1 Terminal "9", which is factory set for N.O. Start ("0010"),
and to either TB1 Terminal "4" or "11". See Figure 24, for connections, Jumper J2 settings, and
drive programming.
Operation: Close the Start/Stop contact to start the drive. At 50% rotation, the Main Speed
Potentiometer is set for zero speed. Rotating the Main Speed Potentiometer clockwise will
increase motor frequency in the forward direction. Rotating the Main Speed Potentiometer
counterclockwise will increase motor frequency in the reverse direction. Open the Start/Stop
Contact to stop the drive.
