X& = Unit name A text string of up to 24 characters drawn from the alphabet (A–Z) digits (0–9),
minus sign/hyphen (-). No blank or space characters are permitted as part of the
name. No distinction is made between upper and lower case. The first character
must be an alphabet character. The last character must not be a minus sign/
hyphen.

accept these characters as part of preset names, the device name, or locally created file
names.
The DMP 44 LC rejects the following characters:
