2.9 CLIP-LIST TAB
The Clip-List tab makes it possible to create simple playlists from the Control
Panel. “Simple playlists” means a list of clips with the same transition applied
between all elements. If you want to utilize a more complex set of functions in
your playlist, use the Playlist Panel module. Refer to the chapter ‘Playlist Panel’
in part 6 of the manual.
Notes:
•
The PGM/PRV mode must be activated for Clip-List tab to be available.
•
The Clip-List tab is not available when using the Software Player.
The Clip-List tab also allows the users to play any existing playlist stored on an
XT, wherever it has been created.
Off-line and On-Line Playlists
The playlists created in the Control Panel are directly defined as on-line playlists.
When the operators load an off-line playlist in the Clip-List tab, it automatically
becomes on-line, i.e. it is copied to the XT of the controlled channel.
Distant and Local Playlists
When the operators load a distant playlist in the Clip-List tab, it is automatically
copied locally, i.e. to the XT of the controlled channel.
The following screenshot highlights the various areas which can be used when
working with playlists in the Control Panel:
