the drive is faulty. Clean the drive.
Try another cartridge.
If the problem persists, replace the tape
drive.
6006 Drive n Tape Alert
6. Write Failure The tape is from a faulty
batch or the tape drive
is faulty. Clean the drive.
Use a good tape to test the drive.
If the problem persists, replace the tape
drive.
6007 Drive n Tape Alert
7. Media Life The tape cartridge has
reached the end of its
calculated useful
Life.
Copy any data you need to another tape
Discard the old tape.

Reset the drive.
Restart the operation.
