Getting Started
■ Connecting to the Serial Port (For Macintosh)
You can connect the camera to a Macintosh using a serial cable for this
camera.
Important
Note
• Make sure that both the PC and the camera are turned off before
connecting or disconnecting the serial cable.

Check that the PC and the camera are turned off.

Open the terminal cover on the right
side of the camera.
C
Insert the flat connector on one end
of the serial cable into the USB/AUX
terminal of the camera with the seal
facing up.
D
Insert the connector on the other end
into the connector of the Macintosh
conversion cable.
E
Insert the connector of the Macintosh
conversion cable into the serial
terminal (modem port or printer port)
of the PC.
Connection by serial cable is now completed.
