Here’s how the keys work in the MiniBrowser:
1 . Volume Keys: These keys perfo rms seve ra l
f u n c t i o n s :
A l l ow you to scroll up or down by a page .
P ress and hold the up key for one second to
b a ck up one level in the brow s e r.
P ress and hold the down key for one second
to go to your home page .
2 . OK / Messages Key: This is the left soft key.
The left soft key is used pri m a ri ly for selecting
the highlighted item, but its function may
ch a n ge depending on what you are doing
(see “The MiniBrowser soft key s ” on page 100).
3 . SEND Key: P ress this key to re c e i ve a call
while in a MiniBrowser session. For more info r-
mation on this fe a t u re see “Receiving a phone
call while using the Wi reless Web Brow s e r ”o n
p age 104.
4 . Numbered Keys 0 - 9: If the items on a page
a re nu m b e re d , you can use these keys to select
t h e m .
5 . Rotate / Shift Key: This is the shift key. P re s s
b e fo re entering text to create upper case letters .
6 . Pound / Space Key: This is the space key.
P ress to insert a space when entering tex t .
7 . 0 / Next Key: E n t e rs a 0. M oves to the nex t
wo rd in T9 text entry mode.
8 . CLR Key: This key perfo rms two functions:
B a cks you up in the brow s e r. P ressing it once
b a cks you up one page .P ressing and holding it
b a cks you up to the Home page .
C l e a rs out entered text or nu m b e rs .W h e n
e n t e ring nu m b e rs or tex t ,p ress
to cl e a r
the last nu m b e r,l e t t e r,or symbol. P ress and
hold
to completely clear the input fi e l d .

The MiniBrowser soft keys
At the bottom of the MiniBrowser display is a solid bar
w h i ch contains browser commands.“ S o f t ”keys (

the commands.These two keys are called soft keys because
their function ch a n ges depending on where you are in the
