Volume
Set the tones on the phone to suit
your requirements. The volume set-
ting controls the volume of the ring-
tone as well as the general volume
level of beeps and tones played by
different applications. The volume
setting does not affect the media
player or the FM radio.
You can set the volume in 5 Levels
or switch ringtones off.

While editing the volume level, the
currently set level is played.

Calendar/Alarm clock
Select function and set melody and
tone for each function separately.
Melody
Select a sound file to use as ringtone.

Depending on the selected function,
the following options will be offered:
Messaging
Melody
Melody settings on see above.
SMS & MMS tone/CBS alert tone/E-mail
tone
Set alert tone used for the different
types of messages.
Tone settings on see above.
Inst.msg sounds/Game sounds/
Startup sound/Shutdown sound
Set pre-defined sound effect for the
selected function.
On / Off Activate/deactivate tone
and confirm with

On / Off Activate/deactivate melo-
dy specified above.
You cannot turn off the
alarm clock tone.
Beep Set ringtone to beep.
Ascending Set ringtone to melody
with ascending volume.
Additional information
Please make sure you have accepted the
call before holding the phone to your ear.
This will avoid damage to your hearing from
loud ringtones.
