Profiles
Several settings can be stored in a
phone profile, for example to adapt
the phone to the surrounding level
of noise.
• 6 standard profiles are provided
with default settings: General ,
Silent, Meeting , Outdoor , Car kit ,
Headset . You can edit the default
settings.
• You can set and rename
2 personal profiles ( User profile 1
and User profile 2 ).
Activating a profile
I Select a default profile or
a personal profile.

Edit a default profile or create a new

Change settings .
The list of available settings is dis-
played. For details see correspond-
ing menu descriptions.
When you have finished setting one
function, you return to the profile
menu and can change further
settings.

Headset
The special profile Headset is auto-
matically set when an original Sie-
mens headset is attached (see also
accessories, page 147).
Additional Information
• Bluetooth Car Kits do not support pro-
files, e.g. General, Silent, Meeting, Out-
door, Car kit, Headset.
• If you change settings when not in the
profile menu, changes are not saved in
the current selected profile.
Additional Information
In standby mode: Press briefly
G to
display Profile list.
Activate /
Deactivate
Activate/deactivate selected
profile.
Change
settings
Change profile settings.
Return to
default
Enter phone code (page 24)
and confirm with §Yes§ to set
profile settings to default.
Copy from Copy settings from another
profile. Select profile whose
settings you want to copy
and confirm with C .
