Press to launch the Media
player.
When you view a picture/video or lis-
ten to a melody, the application (e.g.
Camera, Messages, My stuff) starts
the media player automatically.
The media player functions are ac-
cessible via 4 tabs: Music , Pictures ,
Videos and Bookmarks .

The media player contains files
stored on the phone memory
as well as files stored on the
RS MultiMediaCard (those files
are marked).
Music
The music tab includes, for example,
MP3 and AAC files. For fast access,
the tracks are sorted by the follow-
ing categories:
•
Playlists : Display configured/new
playlists (page 106).
• Recent : Display the 20 most
recently played tracks (up to 25).
• All : Display all saved tracks sorted
by track name.

The playback is started. At the end
of the track, the next track in the
list/playlist is played automatically.
The media player offers the follow-
ing functions for music playback:
C Playback/Pause depend-
ing on current state.
F Press briefly: Skip to
previous/next track.
Press and hold: Rewind/
fast forward within the
current track (not within
live stream).

Press briefly: Raise/de-
crease volume by one
level.
Press and hold: Set volume
to maximum/minimum.
Additional information
An incoming call puts playback in the back-
ground automatically (page 23).
Additional information
If playback was started from another appli-
cation, e.g. My Stuff, playback stops at the
end of the track.
