configuration of the external device’s RS-232 port. The DAB1’s RS-232 pin

c) Are the ‘baud rate’ and ‘format’ of the external device properly configured?

d) Is the external device properly configured to send/receive?
e) Are the ASCII text serial commands programmed in Sonance Control
Manager correct? See pages 43 – 44.
f) If using Hex commands, be sure the Macro Editor screen’s H
EX

is pressed before inputting the Hex command. See page 43.
g) If the DAB1 is being serial-controlled by the external device, make sure that
all DAB1 macros are purged of all RS-232 commands. See page 53.
