F110 performs two separate functions:
•
Configure the J1 input port for a TIET signal
•
Display TIET information.
Keypad
•
J1 Input Config
: Displays “DISABLE” if the function has not been purchased and installed.
Displays “TIET” if the TIET option has been purchased and installed.

J1 Select Function
: If TIET is enabled, select DISPLAY TIET MEAS to display TIET information
such as Time Interval or Event Time, or select J1 INPUT CONFIG to configure the J1 for a TIET
input signal.
•
Select TIET Measurement
: If DISPLAY TIET MEAS was selected, select whether to display
TIME INTERVAL or EVENT TIMING on the front panel.
•
J1 Input Impedance
: For short runs (<200 ft.), select 100 k
Ω. For long runs (>200 ft.), select
50
Ω.
•
Input Polarity
: Positive only.
Upon changing the settings, the last display prompt asks:
•
Save Changes?
: (Yes, No) Yes applies the changes. No cancels the changes.

Notes:
Stray capacitance loading on the J1 input adversely impacts TIET measurements.
Command Line
Use F110 to query or configure the J1 TIET input, or to query TIET information.
To request the J1 Input Configuration, enter:
F110
The port responds with the ASCII character string:
F110TIET
(when TIET option is enabled and J1 has a TIET input)
Where the F110 entry and request formats are defined as:

= ASCII character F.
