Connecting to a PC
The following illustrates how to set up a small LAN using VR-
509’s factory settings.
1. Click on the button.
• Right-click on [My Network], and then select the
“Properties”.
2. Select the network that is connected to the PC that
operates the Web browser.
• Right-click on “Properties”.
3. Confirm that “Client for Microsoft Networks” and
“Internet Protocol [TCP/IP] are ticked.
4. Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”, and then click on
.
5. Select “Use the following address”
6. Set the “IP Address” to 192.168.0.11
7. Set the “Subnet Mask” to 255.255.255.0
8. Set the “Default gateway” to 192.168.0. 254
9. Click on “OK”
10. Click on the button on the “Local Area
Connection Properties” screen.
• Ensure that the same IP address is not used within the
same network environment.
• Do not register more than one IP address for each NIC
when setting up the PC network environment.
