Recording Camera Images
1. Press the [MENU] button.
• Opens the menus in accordance with the instructions
provided in MENU Screen Operations (page 17) in the
sequence of [MENU]
→ [RECORD SETUP] → [REC
PATTERN SET].
2. Select your desired pattern with [
S/T], and then press
the [SET] button.
• The “STANDARD” or “REC PATTERN” screen will be
displayed.
• The amount of time that recording is possible in
accordance with the set parameters will be displayed on
the bottom line.
The amount of time recording is possible with the
remaining hard disk capacity will be displayed when the
[REPEAT REC] parameter is set at “OFF”. The amount
of time recording is possible with the total capacity of the
hard disk will be displayed when the [REPEAT REC]
parameter is set at “ALL” or “ALARM LOCK”.
* The above is an example of STANDARD.
3. Select “NORMAL REC” items with [
S/T/W/X], and set
the frame count and resolution with [–/+].
Settings
0.08, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.7, 2.5, 5, 8.3, 12.5, 25:
Sets the number of frames (images) to be recorded per
second.

H (High):
High quality recording
N (Normal):
Normal quality recording
B (Basic):
Basic quality recording
L (Lowest):
Lowest quality recording
4. Select “ALARM REC” items with [
S/T/W/X], and then
set “QLY” “F.RATE” or “M.DET” with [–/+].
Settings
0.8, 1.7, 2.5, 5, 8.3, 12.5, 25:
Sets the number of frames (images) to be recorded
per second.

Does not record
(AUTO):
Records with the highest frame count possible when
there are no effects from other inputs.
Highest frame count: The maximum frame count that
can be used for recording divided equally.
A guide to the estimated recordable frame rate is
displayed on the right-hand side of the “(AUTO)”
when all alarm recordings have been started.
H (High):
High quality recording
N (Normal):
Normal quality recording
B (Basic):
Basic quality recording
L (Lowest):
Lowest quality recording
Sets the motion detect sensitivity.
OFF:
Disables the motion detect mode.
NORM:
Detects the motion detect sensitivity in normal mode.
USER:
Detects the motion detect sensitivity in free mode.
DOOR H, DOOR L, HALL H, HALL L, CHECK H, CHECK L,
ATM H, ATM L, LOBBY H, LOBBY L, GATE H, GATE L, PARK
H, PARK L, DARK H, DARK L, ELEVATR, COUNTER:
Detects the motion detect sensitivity in set mode.

5. Press the [SET] button.
• A confirmation screen will be displayed.
6. Select “SAVE” with [
W/X], and then press the [SET]
button.
• It is necessary to ensure that the total number of frames
shown below in (1) to (3) are set so that they do not
exceed 100 (or 50). The total number of frames are 100
when the [PRIORITY] setting on the [CAMERA SETUP-
1] screen (See page 20) is set at [SMOOTH], and 50
when it is set at [HIGH-RESOLUTION].
(1) Total number of frames during normal recording.
(2) Total number of frames during alarm recording.
(3) Total number of frames of either each camera,
normal recording or alarm recording, whichever is the
largest.
* The frame count for alarm recording when in the [AUTO]
mode is calculated under the assumption that the number
of frames for alarm recording is 1.
