43 External Display Features
Shortcut: Press S up to go to your contact list from the
external display home screen.
To open the address book and view your contact list:
1 From the home screen, press in the rocker switch to open
the quick menu.
2 Rotate the rocker switch to highlight Contacts, then press in
the rocker switch to select the option.
Your phone lists the contacts stored on your phone or
SIM card. To view contacts stored in the alternate location,
press in the rocker switch, rotate the rocker switch to highlight
Phone or SIM Card, then press in the rocker switch to select the
option.
Shortcut: Press a keypad key to jump to contact names that
begin with the key’s letters.
To call or send a text message to a contact:
1 Rotate the rocker switch to highlight the contact, then
press in the rocker switch.
2 Highlight Select and press in the rocker switch to view
phone numbers stored for the contact. An indicator to the
left of a phone number indicates the number type (mobile,
home, or work).
3 Rotate the rocker switch to highlight the number you want,
then press in the rocker switch.
4 Rotate the rocker switch to highlight Call or Send a Text Message,
then press in the rocker switch to select the option.
