Getting Started
Installing the SIM Card
Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card contains your
phone number, service details, address book, and messages.
Caution: Do not bend or scratch your SIM card. Avoid
exposing your SIM card to static electricity, water, or dirt.
1
Press and hold the battery door latch on the side of your
phone.
2
Slide the battery door down and lift it off the phone.
3
Slide the SIM card into the SIM card holder, noting the
orientation of the cut corner.
Battery Tips
Battery life depends on the network, signal strength,
temperature, features, and accessories you use.
• Always use Motorola Original batteries and
chargers. The warranty does not cover
damage caused by using non-Motorola
batteries and/or chargers.
• New batteries or batteries stored for a long time may
take more time to charge.
