requesting the host
to stop data
transmission).
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost) and
a question mark
(?) is stored in the
input buffer
when the error is
recovered.
• Check all settings
for the RS-232C
interface.

Download
error
The download
buffer overflows.
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost).
• Reduce
downloaded data.
• Reduce the print
buffer capacity, i.e.,
increase the
download buffer
capacity.

Overrun
error
The printer cannot
accept data at the
rate it is
transmitted. That
is, while the printer
is reading out the
input buffer, the
host transmits the
next data.
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost).
