Chapter 8 To Perform Pre-scan
Click Pre Scan in the main interface of the software (Figure 3-1) and the software
starts to perform pre-scan. At this point, the software scans the signal under
measurement by segments according to the pre-scan sub-ranges edited in Edit
Scan (the scan segments are marked in different colors) and displays the pre-scan
progress bar in the spectrum window, as shown in the figure below.

Note: You can only perform pre-scan after the pre-scan parameters are edited;
otherwise, Pre Scan is grayed out and disabled.
