5. Auto attenuation
Click the dropdown arrow in the Auto Atten box and select On or Off to turn
on or off the auto attenuation mode.
 When On is selected, the Atten(dB) box is grayed out and disabled. The
default value is 10dB.
 When Off is selected, you can set the Atten(dB) manually. For the
setting method, refer to the setting of Sub-range start frequency.
6. Preamplifier
Click the dropdown arrow in the PA box and select On or Off to turn on or off the
preamplifier.
To Edit the Scan List Data
You can perform operations related to the scan list data in Edit Range in the scan
parameter editing interface (Figure 6-1).
1. Add scan sub-range
After setting a group of scan sub-range (SubRange) parameters manually,
 Click Add to add a group of scan data into the scan list (they are added
into the last row by default);
 Click Insert Before to insert a group of scan data in the row in front of
the data row currently selected;
 Click Insert After to insert a group of scan data in the row behind the
data row currently selected.
